Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
My thoughts: All across the nation tonight, evil is welcomed and celebrated. I hate Halloween and the kingdom of darkness. In no way do I support this evil holiday. In this time of darkness, God is calling Christians everywhere to reflect His image. He wants us to be mirrors that reflect His glorious light. The truth is, we cannot reflect a light that hasn’t penetrated the darkness in our own life. God’s light exposes darkness. If Christians are hiding out in their houses, ignoring the problem, then darkness will continue to prevail. We can’t expect people to glorify a God they don’t even see in us. God’s Light is easily distinguished from the darkness, so shouldn’t Christians be recognized as different in the dark world? Instead, many of us decorate our homes with evil and welcome demons into our home that we should be rebuking. Let’s not make a home for the darkness we should be dispelling.
