Psalm 31:19,20 “How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence, far from accusing tongues.”
My thoughts: What a privilege it is to even breathe in the presence of God. He has gone through so much that I may experience His goodness. What a fool I would be not to fear Him and embrace the wonderful life He came to give me. It is impossible to give God all that He deserves. All that He deserves cannot be measured or even expressed by our human language. If I can show God reverence and hold Him in high regard above everything else while receiving a life filtered by His goodness, then maybe I will feel as if I gave Him something significant. I want the cost of my love for Jesus to be at the highest level possible in all of life’s circumstances. Whether my home be in a mansion or in the middle of a wilderness, may my love be radical for the One who is wild about me. Receiving His love for us is vital in showing our love to Him. What will we do with the goodness He has stored up for us?
