The Victory Is Ours

1 Samuel 17:32 “Don’t worry about this Philistine ,” David told Saul. “I’ll go fight him!”

My thoughts: David had no doubt that God would go forth with him and bring him victory over Goliath. David saw beyond the physical height of the giant. He responded in faith and understood the authority and power of God! His first response was faith, not fear. David knew that he had dominion over the enemy because he was a servant of the Living God! God is looking for people like David who are willing to fight against the spiritual darkness. Whether the darkness is in our family, community, personal life, etc., the enemy has no place over any of it. The victory is ours. However, we must still fight for it. Faith is seeing the end result, not the present circumstances.
